Tempahan tudung yang dh siap dijahit dan pagi tadi dh selamat berada di tangan tuannya..

Style : Oblong (ni yg lilit2 tu)

Tudung dh siap dijahit.. ni xde sapa yg punya lagi..

Style : Scallop (cantik sbb ada wave kat bhgn dada bila pakai)

Style : Berbutang (mudah bagi yg suka letak brooch di belakang leher)

New Material.. dh siap potong pun mlm tadi.. Nantikan kemunculan batch yg printed plak..

ps : dlm pada aku ghalit dok mengedit gambo2 nie, aku terdelete plak signature utk entry kali ni.. huhuuhhuu.. so kali xde ler gambo anak2ku itew..

:: Affan Pre-School Sports Day ::

Semalam (23/05/09) merupakan hari sukan Affan Pre-School... Along dlm kelas 5 Olive.. comel plak diorang ni pakai crown DIY oleh guru kelas masing2.. disebabkan nk bagi fair,setiap pelajar participate sekurang2nya 1 acara..then, walaupun dpt nombor yg last still dpt hadiah.. Acara yg Along sertai dpt 2nd place.. Acara memasukkan tali ke dalam kuntuman bunga kertas dan straw.. hadiah tak tahu sbb kami balik awal.. Tunggu hari isnin dlm kelas nanti baru teacher diorang beri..

Kelas Along .. Baju hijau tu guru kelas Along.. Nama glamer Teacher Gee.. hehhee..

Inilah barisan kita..yg ikhlas berjuang..aminn..

Project Update

If u all still remember, a few months back I start my tudung project.. well, here are some update on what's going on.. hmm, not much actually as I'm still terkedek2 utk kemaskini my sewing skills.. tempahan pun just from my family n neighbour.. my quality control officer said that I need to perfect my sewing skills b4 I can go bigger in my project..

However, these are the tudungs that I've finished sewing.. materials that I used come from different sources.. some from Kamdar and some from online shopping..it depends on the demand..

While these are my daughter punya tudungs collection.. heheeee, nkn buat camna.. dh mama dia jahit tudung, anak dara dia pun mesti nk melaram ngan tudung jahitan mama dia gak.. 3 on the left I used span padat.. yg lain just guna interface biasa je.. I used the span was for experiment.. and it looks good on kids also but kurang menariklah for grown ups..

Some awnings yg dh ready untuk dicantum pada kain tudung.. semua ni pun dh ada yg punya.. materials for these awnings are thai silk, brocade and even cotton.. awning yg belum potong n jahit pun masih melambak lagi dlm tray.. jenis time beli kain tak tau nk beringat..

Materials for body tudung that in the waiting list to be sew.. all from online shopping xcept the top one, my mom give me that shawl (pashmina).. kain drp kamdar takde dlm simpanan coz they don't have the color that I want.. there are also some material yg on the way, seller baru je pos..lom sampai lagi..

Oklah, thats all the updates regarding my DIY project.. I just wish that I have my own mesin jahit tepi.. that way I can save my time...

:: One Story ::

Since my involvement in sewing (tudung), most of my free time was in front of the sewing machine..the favourite shopping place is Kamdar. Why? well, most probably Kamdar is the only place in Kuantan that sell the material I need.. also, it's affordable to my customer..

Nowadays, I don't need to buy new tudung for my Dania.. I just pick the patern that I like and make it into a mini tudung for her.. At first, banyak yg error than right because the samples are for adult size not kids.. but, I just learn everything from mistakes.. now, really2 satisfied with the outcome.. it's just that I don't like to take any picture of the tudung I made.. don't know why..

This morning, after fetch along from his tadika, I went to Kamdar with both my kids.. hmmm, nk ditinggal bukannya ada sapa nk jaga.. so, they have to follow mama diorang bershopping (niat di hati) kainlah yea.. Still, the color yg I want masih takde.. dh nama bawa anak kan, kalau tak kena pau tak sah namanya.. So, along with his cute face minta kain corak cartoon.. I ask him, "nak buat apa?" then he just angkat bahu tanda taktau.. as before this pun I never make him any sarung bantal, so I ask him again "kita buat sarung bantal nak?".. dgn laju dia angguk kepala siap tambah cakap nk sarung bantal peluk plak... tapi takkan n beli utk along shj kan.. belikanlah jugak utk dania the same pattern.. tp yg lawak masa salesgirl tu nk potong kain, dgn confident he said, "untuk 2 org tau".. hai, tergelak sorang mama dia dengar..

So, now I need to wait again for my material to arrive..ntah bilalah yea..

Afterwards, I have lunch with a friend of mine, Cik Puan Olie yg tengah sarat pregnant.. She's due in June for her 4th child.. So, Olie, generous as always..belanja kami 3 beranak ni..mekasih yea Olie.. kadang tu segan pun iya gk sebab asyik belanja kami jer..hehehee, tp takpelah, big bos kan ^-^

Our next destination is KSH (Kuantan Specialist Hospital).. Anak my neighbour masuk hospital.. actually, this is his 2nd time.. yg first tak sempat nk p tgk, tu yg buat sempat gak today.. Demam dia berulang because of flame n ada lung infection.. need to have nebolizer once every 2 hours.. need to do fisio therapy also..kesian dia, belum setahun pun umurnya..

That's our final destination.. dh pukul 3 lebih pun, balik rumah sajalah.. sampai rumah, sms hubby cakap hari ni tak masak.. baru balik dr bandar, tak larat.. my hubby punyalah sporting, just say ok... love u abang.. lagipun dh beli roti melambak2 pun..

:: Price ::

As ramai yg bertanya price for my tudung, fateen just nk inform yg price differ according to material I used.. Sometimes I used material dr Kamdar (sbb satu2nya tempat yg convenient buat masa nie).. kadang tu material yg I purchase online (this one normally mahal berdouble2 sbb material dia mmg elok n sedap dipakai).. contoh tudung guna online material adalah gambar yg fateen shoot single..

awning(kain yg ada kain gam) pun berbeza2 harga.. contohnya awning Louis Voutton ngan yg biasa mmg double2lh rege dia.. Just buat kalau ada tempahan n Fateen biasanya ambil deposit 50%(nk rolling modal maa)..

Ni senarai harga utk tudung entry yg lepas.. yg tinggal dlm simpanan just warna hitam awaning silver grey and colorful pink..both fateen jual RM35 sbb tudung ni size L, sampai perut labuhnya.. my hubby said that nk jahit tudung kena sambil berdakwah, so itu yg my tudung semua size besar (hehehee..cam baik sangat daku ini).... tudung saiz kecil perlu ditempah beserta deposit..

Sekarang ni fateen masih tak berapa puas hati bab jahit tepi sbb hantar kedai.. org tu buat main hentam je.. charge yg dikenakan ttp sama.. bersemangat nk kumpul duit nk beli mesin jahit tepi plak..

ps:manikku terbengkalai sat.. rasa rindu plak nk jait manik..

:: My Project ::

My own DIY tudung.. these are the 2nd batch of my tudung project.. Still have many thing utk diperbaiki and do better.. well, practice makes perfect right.. Most of these tudungs have the owner.. Still x sempat to do ready stock for me to promote here.. But if any of you really2 want to tempah from me, I'll accept.. Price according to the materials used..

Modelku yg cute mute itew...geram sungguh tengok pp tu... Dania just melaram ngan tudung customer mama.. x mo bukak dh, beria sungguh bertudung tu :D dh tu xmo bukak, nk gak tudung tu.. But well, of course I win.. take off the tudung at last.. I also promise to make tudung for her also bila dh kesempatan nnt...

Some I purchase online and some I just bought them in store...

:. last2 the tukang jahit don't have new tudung for melaram as most of the tudung belongs to the customers (mostly my jiran tetangga)

:: THE OUTCOME ::

As I promiss U all.. This time I post a pictur of me wearing my new handmade pashmina/shawl..the red color is the first attempt to sew.. my darling hubby said that it was not balance (it's ok as he is the best critics person for me).. the brown color is my second attempt in sewing pashmina.. walaaaa...my hubby said it's beautiful (as I was trying it that time)..hehheee, masuk bakul angkat sendirilah plak.. well, dh terlanjur he said that, I wear that pashmina when we went for dinner that nite :D (kemaruk punya pasal..hahahhaaa)

New Project For Me

Actually, nobody assign me to do this project.. Just like to try it.. Moreover it's for my own good also.. A few weeks ago, while surfing the blog I found something interesting.. It's been a long time that I'm thinking of doing it.. but now I've found some tutorial and even can do some shopping online (no need for me to go to Kamdar with my 2 'handbag')..

I'm starting my 'tudung' project..more correctly, tudung Ariani or Munawwarah..but in my versionlahh..B4, I have to buy from Kak Maryam all my tudung pashmina(with the awning)..but now, I'm going to learn to do it myself.. Hehhee, actually I've finished 2.. one for me and the other for my Dania.. it still not perfect, wait till I perfect it.. Only then I will post it here, k.. my husband will comment 'bout it, if he say ok then I'll show u..

My weapon to sew my tudung..hehee, dok terperap dlm box 'bout 3yrs..luckily it still can be use..

Another project that been working on is my manik project..just bought some material for it..want to sew all my new kurung with manik.. only simple design as I'm still learning (get the design from the pro, example Msdnoraini , Nor Zalmilah and Rai Ranie)
